Construction events in Russia are spread across different venues: trade shows, industry weeks, forums and engineering exhibitions. It is easy to learn about a useful event only after the stands have been dismantled, travel has become more expensive and meetings have gone unarranged.
This article brings together recurring construction events in Russia and a practical list for planning. It is an archive calendar for the 2025–2026 seasons; the original reference date is 15.12.2025. The dates in the table apply only to the seasons shown. For a new trip, check the next season’s dates with the organizer.
No single article can cover “all” annual construction events: every region also has professional conferences, supplier days and private club meetings. Here, the focus is on recurring national and regional venues.

How to use the list and what counts as an annual event
In this article, an annual event is one that recurs regularly, has previous editions, and either has a dedicated organizer or is held as part of an industry week. The city, season, audience profile and format of the business program usually recur.
Dates and venues can change, especially when an event relocates. Use this list as a planning framework and check the organizer’s information 2–3 months before your trip.
Annual construction event calendar: dates for 2025–2026

For regional procurement, the calendar provides a useful framework: February and March bring materials and engineering events, April has regional construction exhibitions, May has machinery shows, and autumn covers lighting, tools and urban infrastructure.
Where to find suppliers of building materials and finishes
If you want to find new manufacturers, refresh your range of finishes or build a pool of contractors for the season, consider major materials exhibitions. MosBuild in Moscow is one option.
For regional work, consider YugBuild in southern Russia, Build Ural in the Urals and Siberian Construction Week in Siberia.
In Russia’s Northwestern Federal District, InterStroyExpo in Saint Petersburg brings together seasonal suppliers and new products for construction, design and restoration.
Engineering systems: heating, water supply, drainage, ventilation and climate control
Engineering systems have their own calendar. In early February in Moscow, AIRVent and Aquaflame cover ventilation, climate control, plumbing, heating and related solutions at the same venue.
For the climate control market, also consider Climate World Expo: its February edition takes place in Moscow.
Digital construction, BIM and smart buildings
For digital construction, there are three useful reference points: 100+ TechnoBuild in Yekaterinburg at the end of September and beginning of October, HI-TECH BUILDING in Moscow in spring, and the XI International BIM Forum in Moscow in December.
For building operation and smart homes, consider Interlight | Smart City & Home: its autumn program covers lighting, electrical engineering and automation.
For tools and procurement for site teams, MITEX in November is another option.
How to choose 2–3 events for your needs
The same exhibition serves different roles. Manufacturers look for dealers and contracts; contractors look for suppliers and technologies; developers look for solutions that simplify construction and operation.
Choose an event by first setting a measurable goal: the number of meetings, leads or quotations you need. Then select an event whose audience matches your profile.
- If you are a finishing or general construction contractor, start with an event in your own macroregion: YugBuild, Build Ural or Siberian Construction Week. Add MosBuild if you need a wider supplier pool.
- If you manufacture materials or engineering products, add Russian Construction Week in Moscow for market and industry association contacts.
- If you work with infrastructure or heavy machinery, consider CTT Expo.
How to build your own calendar of events in Russia
This list provides an industry framework. Add regional and specialist events using three sources: venues, organizers and industry media.
Each December, record the following year’s events. Update dates monthly wherever the organizer has not yet announced the next edition.
Step 1. List the cities where you sell or source products: at least 3–5 priorities.
Step 2. Choose an anchor venue in each city, for example Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk or Krasnodar.
Step 3. Add 2–3 specialist organizers that regularly hold events in your field: materials, engineering systems, machinery or digitization.
Step 4. Put everything in a single business travel calendar: stand, logistics, meetings, demonstrations and preparation deadlines.
Step 5. Check construction and event calendars together so that travel does not disrupt the work schedule. For help, see the article on creating a construction schedule.
How to assess participation costs and track expenses
It is difficult to judge an exhibition’s value if you return with business cards and photos but no measurable results. Manage participation as a separate project: a meeting plan, budget, assigned responsibilities, reporting and a final review.
In the 101 app, you can create a separate project for an event, record expenses such as flights, accommodation, a stand and contractors, attach photos and PDFs that document transactions to the relevant events, and prepare a financial report. Available actions depend on your permissions and the app version. Try tracking travel expenses in a separate project.
If you provide foremen, procurement staff or engineers with expense advances during the trip, agree in advance how spending and settlement of those advances will be recorded. This reduces the risk of lost receipts and unsettled advances. For more on this, see the article on accounting for expense advances (in Russian).
If you attend exhibitions to develop your business, focus on how technologies can be applied in practice. You can start with the article Modern Construction Technologies (in Russian).
