Telegram 101 as a private business owners’ club: rules, benefits, conversations and sharing leads

Telegram 101 as a private club

The 101 community on Telegram brings managers of project-based businesses together around practical questions: working with customers, processes on job sites, money and experience using the 101 App. Public 101 materials describe three ways to participate: a public channel, chat discussions and private materials for PRO+ users.

Below, we explain the purpose of each format, the community rules and ways to share experience and leads. Community materials are predominantly in Russian. Check current access terms and the contents of the private library with support: they can change.

Why Telegram 101 feels like a club

A manager’s typical week involves job sites, crews, customers, payments, contract questions and calculating project margins. A channel is useful when it helps you find an answer or see an approach to one of these tasks. The public 101 channel publishes practical explanations, news and links to articles.

Shared topics create the club atmosphere: project-based business, processes, money and transaction security. Questions can be discussed with colleagues, while PRO+ users have a separate private tier. This approach is described in The 101 Business Community (in Russian) and The Builders’ Club (in Russian).

The public community description includes builders, design studio managers, engineers and production teams. Their common ground is project-based business and a desire to discuss work through numbers and processes.

Three formats of the 101 community: a public channel, an open chat and private PRO+ club materials

Three ways to participate in the 101 community. The diagram explains their purposes; it does not show an interface or a guaranteed procedure for gaining access.

If you need peers with whom to discuss practical construction and project-service tasks, start with the format that suits you. Participation itself does not guarantee a solution to a problem or new orders.

Club rules: what maintains quality

The quality of conversations depends on rules and moderation. The public description of the 101 club emphasizes focused questions, support and sharing experience. A discussion with background information is more useful than a general message saying, ‘Everything is going wrong. What should I do?’

For example, when discussing a situation with a customer, specify the contract terms, the stage of work and each party’s responsibilities. This is an example of preparing a question, not the story of a particular member. Clearer context makes it easier for colleagues to suggest an approach you can use.

  • Keep to the relevant topics: the 101 App, working with customers and contractors, business security and organization, and practical project problems.
  • Send technical questions to 101 support (in Russian) so discussions do not become a queue of repetitive support requests.
  • Do not post business cards or advertising messages. Tell your story and share experience, results and conclusions.
  • Complete your Telegram profile: a photo, description and link to your website or social media help colleagues understand who you are and what you do.
  • Do not send members intrusive direct messages. The public 101 rules warn of anti-spam blocking; the actual enforcement of penalties depends on current moderation.
  • Get approval from those responsible for the community before advertising products, integrations or services. The club description provides for reviewing such proposals.

These restrictions help keep the chat a working tool. Personal experience and results provide more context for getting acquainted than repetitive self-promotion. Advertising in the community does not replace your own assessment of a product or advice.

The public channel: materials and benefits

The public 101 Telegram channel (in Russian) is a place to read practical explanations, news and curated selections. You can return to useful posts as you would to a library. Check the publication date, especially if the material concerns product terms that can change.

The channel is connected to the blog, where topics are explored in more detail. To get started, look at the selections of Telegram channels for builders and Telegram channels about business.

To connect your reading to company processes, choose core topics such as expense tracking (in Russian) or handling price objections. Compare the recommendations with the conditions of your own projects.

The open chat: conversations, questions and suggestions

Public 101 materials describe the chat as a place for questions, discussions of situations on job sites and sharing experience with the app. We do not recommend using the old direct chat link: when checked, it led to unrelated content. Ask 101 support (in Russian) for the current way to join.

To discuss milestone payments, describe the contract, the recorded events and where the misunderstanding arose. Colleagues may share approaches to advance payments, additional work and completing milestones. Before incorporating someone else’s experience into your procedures, check whether it applies to your transaction.

According to the community description, users suggest product improvements and the founders of 101 participate in discussions. This is an opportunity to provide feedback; a founder’s involvement or a response within a particular time is not guaranteed for any specific question.

Regularly share the results of implementation. When members see the context of your project and the effects of a change, discussions become more focused. Remove personal and confidential information from examples and documents.

The private PRO+ club: content and access

A public 101 article describes a private tier for PRO+ subscribers and gaining access through support. Check the current joining procedure with the official chatbot (in Russian); subscription status and access terms must be checked for your account.

The published library description lists business podcasts, a recorded management accounting webinar, a consultation with a construction lawyer, and materials on using AI and working with Notion. This describes a published selection, rather than confirming that every recording is currently available in the private channel. Check legal recommendations against your own jurisdiction.

The materials and subscription benefits are discussed in articles about private PRO+ materials (in Russian) and about the plan for managers (in Russian). They describe project analytics, company funds and document branding. Do not assume that every mentioned feature is exclusive to PRO+; check current terms against the plan description.

For management tasks, articles about a business analytics system (in Russian) and about a reserve fund (in Russian) may also help. Connect metrics to a decision and a clear company rule.

Sharing leads: relevant and spam-free

The public community description discusses members getting acquainted and referring orders to one another. Trust and a clear profile matter: your specialization, city and type of work. A stream of promotional business cards violates the club rules; receiving a lead is not guaranteed.

Before posting a request to find a contractor or a partnership proposal, agree on an acceptable format with the moderator. The rules restrict such posts. First take part in useful discussions and learn the current requirements.

  1. Complete your profile: photo, description, website or social media.
  2. Share your experience: answer 3–5 questions in your area of expertise if you can give a substantive answer.
  3. If the moderator has approved the request, describe the task: city, type of site, deadlines, budget range, the specialist required, and important documents and authorizations.
  4. Agree on contact with the member in the discussion, then continue privately with their consent. Do not use mass messaging.

Describe results: what happened after changing a process or using a feature. Such an example helps colleagues understand your experience; it does not replace checking a potential partner and the transaction terms.

A 7-day plan

Try the ‘question → action → report’ cycle. First formulate the problem, then test one change and describe the result. This lets you get feedback on the initial situation and the consequences. It is a suggested working plan, not a promise of results in a week.

Choose a comfortable pace and adapt the plan to the community format available to you:

  1. Day 1: subscribe to the materials and choose 2 current topics—money, contracts, hiring or processes.
  2. Day 2: ask support how to join the chat now. If you gain access, introduce yourself: niche, city, company type and current projects.
  3. Day 3: if you have chat access, find 2–3 discussions on your topic and note recurring solutions.
  4. Day 4: ask a specific question with background information and numbers, respecting the rules and confidentiality.
  5. Day 5: test one change—for example, a rule for advance payments, recording additional work or completing milestones.
  6. Day 6: write a report on what you did and what actually changed.
  7. Day 7: assess whether you need PRO+ for its private materials and management community, after checking the current terms.

For organizing conversations, the article about using Telegram for business (in Russian) is useful: chats, archives and message structure help you lose track of tasks less often.

Treat the community as a working environment: read, ask questions, test advice in practice and come back with results. The benefits depend on your task, the quality of the discussion and whether the chosen solution applies to your situation.
